Import Parameters

The uniimp command is for importing parameters from a Company described in an XML file in a Dollar Universe Company. Filters can be used to target the settings to import.

Syntax:

The mandatory parameters are for targeting the Dollar Universe environment the settings must be imported into. The optional parameters are for filtering the objects to import or to define the import options.

• -adm

  Optional. Only usable with the –full option. Incompatible with –noadm. Imports everything including objects without Areas (user, MU, Domain, Application, Rules, Resources, Classes, Queues, Runbooks)

• -appl <val>

  Optional. Filter by application. Incompatible with –noadm

• -area <val>

  Mandatory. Dollar Universe Area the object must be imported into: X, S, I or A

• -book <val>

  Optional. Filter by runbook (version 6). Incompatible with –noadm

• -bv <val>

  Optional. Filter by business views

• -cal <val>

  Optional. Filter by calendar, all types (template or not)

• -calnotpl

  Optional. Only usable with –cal. For importing only non-template calendars.

• -caltpl

  Optional. Usable with –cal only. For importing template calendars exclusively.

• -class <val>

  Optional. Filter by class. Incompatible with –noadm

• -company <val>

  Mandatory. Dollar Universe Company the objects must be imported from

• -dom <val>

  Optional. Filter by domain. Incompatible with –noadm

• -file <val>

  Mandatory. Full name of the XML file containing the settings to import into the Company

• -full

  Optional. Imports all the objects without a filter. By default, no object is imported. -full used alone imports all the objects.
  For example: -upr="UPR*" -user="*du*" -full
  Imports:

  • All Uprocs starting with “UPR”
  • All user containing "du"
  • All other objects

  For example: -upr="UPR*" -user="*du*"
  Imports:

  • All Uprocs starting with "UPR"
  • All users containing "du"

• -help

  Optional. Displays the online help

• -jc <val>

  Optional. Filter by job chain

• -jemu <val>

  Optional. Filter by Management Unit of the job events

• -jeses <val>

  Optional. Filter by session of the job events

• -jeupr <val>

  Optional. Filter by Uproc of the job events

• -jeuser <val>

  Optional. Filter by user of the job events

• -login <val>

  Mandatory. UVMS login account. This account must be declared in UVMS as a “Login” and have the reading rights on the Dollar Universe node targeted by the import.

• -mshost <val>

  Mandatory. UVMS host name the Dollar Universe node is declared on

• -msport <val>

  Mandatory. UVMS port number (4184 by default)

• -mu <val>

  Optional. Filter by Management Unit. Incompatible with –noadm

• -noadm

  Optional. Only usable with –full option. Incompatible with –adm. Imports everything except the objects without Areas (user, MU, Domain, Application, Rules, Resources, Classes, Queues)

• -node <val>

  Mandatory. Dollar Universe node the objects must be imported into

• -overwrite

  Optional. If the object exists already in the targeted Dollar Universe environment, by default, it is not replaced except if this parameter is specified.

• -pwd <val>

  Mandatory. Incompatible with –pwdfile. UVMS login account password

• -pwdfile <val>

  Mandatory. Incompatible with –pwd. Full name of the file containing the encrypted password of the UVMS login account. The password must be encrypted with the command uniencryptpwd.

• -que <val>

  Optional. Filter by queue. Incompatible with –noadm

• -res <val>

  Optional. Filter by resource. Incompatible with –noadm

• -rul <val>

  Optional. Filter by rule. Incompatible with –noadm

• -ses <val>

  Optional. Filter by session

• -ssl

  Optional. Use SSL

• -trig <val>

  Optional. Filter by trigger

• -tsk <val>

  Optional. Filter by task (version 6), all types (template or not)

• -tskmu <val>

  Optional. Filter by Management Unit of the tasks (versions 5 or 6)

• -tsknotpl

  Optional. Only usable with –tsk. For importing non-template tasks only

• -tskses <val>

  Optional. Filter by session of the tasks (version 5)

• -tsktpl

  Optional. Only usable with –tsk. For importing template tasks only

• -tskupr <val>

  Optional. Filter by Uproc of the tasks (version 5)

• -upr <val>
